paint with glitter on interior walls – Unprevalent, first, it is not opaque. You can see through the paint so well that when you have pencil marks on the wall, you see them through the paint. It sure has a learning curve. This color should be applied uniformly, or it will appear discolored.
Pros: It has a nice shimmering finish. It inserts a fun element into the nursery without much
Work or (unless you intend to paint the whole room!).
After making the first strip at the top of the wall, I discovered much about this painting. It’s seeing
By. Even without a bit of concentration and effort, that doesn’t go consistently. After I reasfitted the upper band, I knew how to apply it uniformly.
I put a small amount of paint in the tray, but evenly. After painting a small colour on the reel, I rolled the roll about 20 times onto the top of the bin to distribute evenly in the roll (evenly, from end to end and all around). Then apply thin layers to the entire strip and make sure the lines don’t overlap.
I work fast enough to cover the whole tape and can run the roller (without colour) lengthwise to give it the final smoothing while everything is still wet.
The other tricky part was the curfew. A foam brush might be the best tool for the corners and edges of the ceiling. I used a hard bristle brush that didn’t apply at all and had a very different look to the one applied to the reel. Those who come as close to the edges as possible with the roller do not realize that a thin shine is made with a brush.
I love the bright and airy finish there is, the subtle shimmer, and there has only been life for a boring wall! And if I had known this above before I started, my upper band wouldn’t be delicate, but now we all know! That wall was a horror, but now this is my favorite part of their room! More POIs stripes floating!
